RIDGE CHRISTIAN ACADEMY

About US

Ridge Christian Academy is a discipleship-driven learning community. We are shaped by the conviction that all truth is God’s truth and that education is a powerful means of spiritual formation. Faith and learning are not separate pursuits at RCA; they are intentionally and thoughtfully integrated.  Our classrooms are environments where biblical truth informs academic inquiry, where students are encouraged to ask meaningful questions, and where learning is framed within God’s redemptive purposes. We seek to form both the hearts and minds of students, recognizing that spiritual maturity and intellectual growth must develop together.

Our Story

Ridge Christian Academy (RCA), a ministry of Ridge Baptist Church, was established in 1998 with a clear and compelling calling: to disciple the next generation through Christ-centered education. From its earliest days, RCA has existed as more than a school. It has served as a place where truth is taught, character is formed, and students are known, loved, and challenged to grow.

Our Vision

Our vision is to raise up a generation of servant-leaders who are intellectually equipped, spiritually mature, and missionally driven—students who are discipled to engage culture with truth, grace, and the gospel of Jesus Christ.

At RCA, we believe students are not merely preparing for future careers but for lives of faithful influence. Our vision compels us to cultivate students who can think deeply, discern wisely, and live courageously as followers of Christ in every context God places them.

Our Identity

Ridge Christian Academy is a discipleship-driven learning community. We are shaped by the conviction that all truth is God’s truth and that education is a powerful means of spiritual formation. Faith and learning are not separate pursuits at RCA; they are intentionally and thoughtfully integrated.

Our classrooms are environments where biblical truth informs academic inquiry, where students are encouraged to ask meaningful questions, and where learning is framed within God’s redemptive purposes. We seek to form both the hearts and minds of students.

OUR MISSION

The mission of Ridge Christian Academy is to partner with families in cultivating Christ-centered students who think biblically, live faithfully, and lead redemptively in every sphere of influence.

Through academic excellence grounded in a thoroughly biblical worldview, we seek to support parents as the primary disciplers of their children. Together, we aim to prepare students for lives of faithfulness, service, and leadership under the lordship of Jesus Christ.

Our Beliefs

At Ridge Christian Academy, our beliefs shape both our purpose and our practice. We affirm that all truth belongs to God and that He alone is the ultimate source of truth. We believe Christian education strengthens and reinforces a student’s foundation built upon the Bible. We also believe God works through the body of Christ—through discipleship, mentoring, and community—to prepare students for life, faith, and service. These convictions guide our approach to education, relationships, and the formation of every student.

We Strive To Be

Biblically Grounded

Scripture is central to everything we do. God’s Word shapes our teaching, guides our leadership, and anchors our approach to student development. We believe the Bible provides the foundation for truth, wisdom, and life.

Academically Excellent

We pursue rigorous scholarship that equips students to reason clearly, communicate effectively, and lead confidently—preparing them for higher education and thoughtful engagement with the world.

Missionally Focused

RCA exists to prepare students not merely to succeed, but to serve. We intentionally disciple students to see themselves as ambassadors of Christ—called to reflect His love and truth in a broken and hurting world.

Accreditation

Ridge Christian Academy is accredited by the South Carolina Independent School Association (SCISA). This accreditation reflects our commitment to academic integrity, organizational excellence, and continuous improvement, while remaining firmly rooted in our Christian mission and values.

Why Ridge Christian Academy

Families choose RCA for more than academics—they seek a Christ-centered education that shapes character. Students are known, challenged, and discipled in a community that partners with families and prepares them for purposeful, faithful living.

Why families choose RCA:

Christ-Centered in Everything

Jesus Christ is at the heart of our mission, curriculum, relationships, and vision for students.

Intentional Discipleship and Character Formation

Faith, integrity, and Christlike character are woven into daily school life.

Biblical Worldview Formation

Students are taught to think biblically about every area of life, grounding their identity and decisions in God’s truth.

Strong Partnership with Families

We walk alongside parents, reinforcing the Biblical values taught at home and supporting students together.

Academic Excellence with Purpose

Rigorous academics are pursued not for prestige, but to equip students to steward their gifts faithfully.

Preparation for Life and Mission

RCA graduates are equipped to engage culture, serve others, and live faithfully under the lordship of Christ.

Ridge Christian Academy helps families raise students who love God, pursue excellence, and live on mission. More than a school, RCA is a Christ-centered community shaping hearts and minds for God’s glory.

We live in a rapidly shifting culture marked by moral confusion and competing truth claims. In such an environment, education is never neutral—it is always formative. Students are continually shaped by influences that often stand in opposition to a biblical worldview.

Christian education matters because it intentionally places Christ at the center of learning and life. At Ridge Christian Academy, we believe students must be equipped not only with academic skill, but with spiritual discernment rooted in Scripture. A Christ-centered education provides a clear and coherent framework for understanding the world under God’s authority.

Rather than isolating students from culture, Christian education prepares them to engage it faithfully. By grounding students in biblical truth, moral clarity, and gospel hope, RCA equips young men and women to think critically, live courageously, and stand firm for Christ in a complex world.

At Ridge Christian Academy, our academic philosophy flows from our theological convictions. Because all truth belongs to God, education is a sacred stewardship that calls students to pursue knowledge with humility and discipline. Rigorous academics and vibrant faith are not competing priorities, but complementary pursuits that prepare students for life and service.

Academic Philosophy
Ridge Christian Academy provides academically excellent, Christ-centered education focused on forming wise, discerning learners. Through rigorous instruction, caring teachers, and a biblical foundation, students develop critical thinking, clear communication, creativity, and the ability to articulate their beliefs with clarity and conviction.

Integration of Faith and Learning
Faith integration is central to every subject at RCA, as Scripture and Christian worldview principles are woven throughout all disciplines, helping students see learning as an act of worship for God’s glory.

Curriculum Overview
RCA offers a comprehensive, Christ-centered curriculum aligned with recognized standards, providing strong foundations, well-rounded instruction, and increasingly analytical learning that prepares students for higher education.

Teachers as Scholar-Disciples
RCA teachers serve as mentors and disciplers who model Christlike character, intellectual curiosity, and spiritual maturity, shaping both competence and character through intentional, biblically grounded relationships.

Resource Support
RCA’s Resource Department provides targeted support and personalized strategies, helping each student thrive academically and spiritually within a Christ-centered learning environment.

Ridge Christian Academy is distinct not simply because it is a Christian school, but because of how intentionally faith, learning, and discipleship are integrated into every aspect of school life.

Discipleship-Driven Culture
Discipleship is foundational at RCA. Biblical truth shapes our curriculum, classroom culture, discipline, and relationships as we intentionally form students who are growing followers of Jesus Christ.

Integrated Faith and Learning
We believe all truth is God’s truth. Academic subjects are taught through a biblical worldview that connects faith to real-world application, encouraging students to think deeply and engage learning as part of God’s redemptive work.

Intentional Character Formation
RCA prioritizes Christlike character—integrity, humility, perseverance, and love for others—as essential preparation for leadership, service, and lifelong faithfulness.

Academic Rigor with Purpose
Our pursuit of academic excellence is driven by purpose, not pressure. We challenge students to grow, equipping them for their next destination in life while keeping Christ at the center of all they do.

Missionally Minded Students
Students are prepared to see their lives as part of God’s mission. Through service, leadership development, and a gospel-centered vision, they are encouraged to live as ambassadors for Christ.

These distinctives reflect our commitment to faithfully educate, disciple, and prepare students to glorify God and serve others in every sphere of life.

Ridge Christian Academy exists to come alongside families—not replace them—in the sacred responsibility of raising and discipling children. We affirm that parents are the primary disciplers of their children, and we view education as a collaborative partnership rooted in shared values, mutual trust, and open communication.

Our role as a school is to support families by reinforcing biblical truth, modeling Christian character, and providing a learning environment that aligns with the convictions taught in the home. This partnership is most effective when families and school walk together with unity of purpose, consistency of expectations, and a shared commitment to spiritual growth.

At RCA, partnership with families is expressed through regular communication, meaningful relationships between parents and staff, and a shared investment in each student’s academic, spiritual, and personal development. We recognize that when school and home are aligned around the gospel, students are more likely to flourish—growing not only in knowledge, but in wisdom, faith, and Christlike character.

At Ridge Christian Academy, education extends beyond the classroom. Athletics, arts and enrichment programs are essential to the holistic development of students, shaping character, cultivating discipline, and helping students steward their God-given gifts.

Athletics: Competing with Character
RCA athletics develop both skill and character, emphasizing teamwork, perseverance, self-control, and sportsmanship. Coaches model Christlike leadership and encourage students to compete with excellence, humility, and gratitude.

Arts: Creativity for God’s Glory
The arts reflect God’s creativity and beauty and are valued as a vital part of a well-rounded education. Through visual art, music, and performance, students grow in confidence, discipline, and creative expression while glorifying God.

Enrichment: Developing the Whole Student
Enrichment programs broaden students’ experiences through clubs, leadership opportunities, and experiential learning that nurture interests, build relationships, and reinforce learning.

Combined, these programs support RCA’s commitment to educating the whole student—mind, body, and spirit—preparing students to engage the world with confidence, creativity, and Christ-centered purpose.

Leadership at Ridge Christian Academy is rooted in service, humility, and faithfulness to Christ. Leadership is defined not by position, but by character, responsibility, and a willingness to serve others for God’s glory.

Christ-Centered Leadership
RCA leaders guide students toward spiritual maturity and academic excellence, modeling integrity, accountability, and reliance on Scripture to foster a supportive and stable school environment.

Student Culture Shaped by Discipleship
Student life is intentionally guided by discipleship. Students are encouraged to treat others with dignity, take responsibility, grow in self-discipline and humility, and serve others with compassion. Discipline is formative, focusing on restoration, growth, and accountability.

Developing Student Leaders
RCA equips students to grow as leaders through academics, service, athletics, arts, and enrichment, teaching them to lead biblically by example, listening, and using their gifts to serve others.

Through a culture grounded in discipleship and service, Ridge Christian Academy prepares students to lead faithfully in school and beyond.

RCA Headmaster | Dr. Chris Wolski

Welcome to Ridge Christian Academy

At RCA, we unite rigorous academics with intentional spiritual formation. Students thrive when their minds are challenged, their character is shaped, and their faith is nurtured in a caring, consistent environment.

Guided by “Faith is Our Shield, Excellence Our Standard,” we prepare students not just for knowledge, but for leadership, integrity, and courage rooted in faith.

Our program focuses on three pillars: sharpening the mind through academics and biblical integration, strengthening the spirit through spiritual growth, and building community through service and fellowship.

We are honored to partner with families in preparing students for college, calling, and faithful Christian leadership—making RCA a place of clarity, care, and genuine love for every student.

True education does more than shape the mind—it forms the heart, grounds the soul in truth, and equips a life to walk wisely, serve faithfully, and glorify God.
